Mexico Single Origin specialty coffee. Mexican coffee originated in the early 1800s, when the French introduced coffee to Mexico. It is also the second most popular type of coffee in America. Mexican coffee is very different from other types of coffee because it is darker and stronger than other types of coffee .

Mexican coffee was first introduced to America by an American soldier named John J. Arbuckle, who was stationed in Veracruz, Mexico, during the Mexican-American War from 1846 to 1848. He brought back a few bags of this new type of coffee with him when he returned to Pennsylvania and began selling it under his name "Arbuckles."

Chiapas coffee is famous for its aroma, intensity and unique body. It is also known to have stronger fruity aromas than other coffees grown in other regions of Mexico. In 1917, Miguel Moises founded Finca Monte Grande, currently managed by the third generation of the family. Finca Monte Grande has an excellent tradition in processing shade-grown coffee.
